The Little Munchkin in Black and White

I'm finding it hard to keep up with life this week, but because my mom (not to mention my husband) start calling to check in on me if I haven't blogged in more than 24 hours here is just a quick check-in.

Camden is going to a birthday party tonight so Rory, Brian, and I are going to make a quick trip to Nashville. I have a pre-surgery appointment this afternoon and we're going to sneak in supper (I've got a buy 1 get 1 free coupon to Pei Wei - woohoo!). Rory thinks we're all going on a date, which is our way of distracting her from the fact that Camden is out partying. She burst into tears when he was invited (how do we stop this behavior, by the way).

Tomorrow Brian has a church meeting all morning; Rory has a soccer game and Camden has baseball game and baseball pictures.

I've taken to calling Addison my little munchkin. Here she is in black and white.

Not that anyone is too worried about this, but I am determined to be back this weekend to post Easter pictures mostly just to get them off my "to do" list. Hope you have a fabulous weekend.

Blogging feels awkward these days. Not blogging feels a bit like abandoning an old friend. In this season of life it doesn't feel necessary to jot down every cute quip (and that's only partially because they don't say nearly as many cute things). The kiddos (even that is strange - can I still call a 12 and 9 year old kiddos?) are more likely to say "don't put that on your blog!" Rory still likes the attention, but Camden is feeling the need for privacy. But they also still love to read my words. Cousins, part 3 (the adult version)

So I'm notoriously bad about including adults in the picture when we're all together, and this trip was no exception. Here are the very few that include adults. Becky is always my test subject before the cousin photo shoots. At the baseball game (which was incredibly hot/humid and started nearly an hour late). Kids were pretty wiped out after their naps following the return from camp. 7/52: Pastel

This week's theme was pastel and there's not a whole lot of pastel in our house, much less with my black-eyed, black-haired Korean gal. However, she gave me about 10 minutes of cooperation in 10 degree weather and we attempted a pastel snow picture. The first one is my official pastel picture, but I included the other attempts because it was pretty darn fun. This is a new face I'm seeing often these days. By the way, she has 3 shirts underneath this dress, a pair of pajama pants and a pair of hot pink sweat pants. LOL
